Publisher Description
Ark Hive Bee is an augmented reality app that recognises the bee in Philippa Bentley’s artwork created for the Whittaker’s Big Egg Hunt. The objective of the Big Egg Hunt is to support the Starship Foundation, which will benefit from the proceeds of sale of the artworks.
The title of Philippa's egg, Ark Hive, is a play on the word 'archive' and a reference to the current decline in bee numbers in New Zealand and globally.
Find the egg, download this app and watch the bee come alive on your device with augmented reality technology when the app recognises the bee.
The egg is located in the Wynyard Quarter of Auckland, NZ
